Drug Uses

Meloxicam Merck is used to relieve the pain and stiffness of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Usage

Take Meloxicam Merck exactly as directed by your physician. It is recommended that you take it with a glass of water and a meal (to avoid an empty stomach).

Missed Dose

If you miss a dose of Meloxicam Merck, then skip it and continue with your regular schedule. However, do not take a double dose to make up for the missed dose.

Storage

Store Meloxicam Merck at room temperature away from heat, light and moisture.

Overdose

Caution is advised when using Meloxicam Merck in children; they may be more sensitive to its effects, especially diarrhea, fever, headache, stomach pain, and vomiting.
Meloxicam Merck should be used with extreme caution in children younger than 2 years old; safety and effectiveness in these children have not been determined.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Meloxicam Merck may cause harm to the fetus. Do not use it during the last 3 months of pregnancy. If you think you may be pregnant, contact your doctor.
